Meals are cooked in the kitchen attached to the school where the children are offered either a hot or a cold meal. Both of which are nutritious and well-balanced. A choice of water or juice is provided for children at their tables.
The cost of a school meal is £2.55 and should be paid via the Arbor App.
If your child is absent, then a credit will be made.
A free school meal is provided for those children whose parents or carers are on a low income. If you think you are entitled to a free school meal, you need to apply by ringing 01642 771106. Every enquiry will be dealt with in the strictest confidence. All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal.
If your child has any special dietary requirements, then please let school know as provision can be made for them.
Children who do not have a school meal can bring a packed lunch or go home. Please ensure that packed lunches are brought to school in a secure container labelled with your child’s name. In the interest of health and safety we do ask that children do not bring cans or glass bottles. They should also not bring fizzy drinks or sweets.
All KS1 children are provided with fresh fruit every day which they eat during morning break.
