Here at Green Gates we are proud of our working relationships with parents and carers. We firmly believe that a parent’s/ carer’s involvement in their child’s learning really does make a difference and here at Green Gates we are committed to giving our parents the tools and support that they need to help their child to achieve their full potential.
We are incredibly proud to have achieved a national award called the ‘Leading Parent Partnership Award’ (LPPA) on 2 separate occasions. This award looks at how well we work with parents and carers, how welcoming the school is, and how we support parents and carers in helping their child to learn. You can find out more about the Leading Parent Partnership Award via the LPPA website: www.lppa.co.uk.
Several people were involved in achieving the award including the Headteacher, School Governors, Parents and Staff.

2024 Update
Our Parent Partnership work has been ongoing throughout the last 4 years since achieving the award. There have been lots of developments in school. We are now working on the re-accreditation of the award which will be decided in June 2024.

Following this feedback, we have put the following things in place:
We have added a guidance document to our induction paperwork which shows the many rewards we have in place at Green Gates. This document can be found here:
We are also in the process of completing a review of After school club provision in school. We already offer a wide selection of free after school clubs but we want to be even better. Emma, our parent support advisor, is on the playground gathering views and has sent out a survey to gather more views. The survey can be accessed here – After school club survey 2024
We hope to have the newly revised after school club offer available for you by July.
